Why Apna was built at first place?
Nirmit Parikh, founder of Apna App observed that there are Job platforms like LinkedIn, Naukri, Angle List and more which helps white collar employees like programmers, designers, etc to find and secure jobs easily.
But no job platforms for blue and grey collar employees like receptionists, beauticians, drivers, delivery executives etc are made yet and which has a market size of over 300 millions in India, and this number is increasing by 10% every year.
Nirmit found this as an opportunity to tap into this market and Apna was born!
PS: Apna name is derived from phrase “Apna time ayega” from Gully Boy Movie
